HAWEKA is put on the map internationally. Development of the first universal
quick clamping device for closed centre wheels

New company headquarters built in Burgwedel / Hannover

The company is restructured and split into:
HAWEKA Balancing Technique (Development and Manufacturing of Adaptors
for off-car wheel balancers) and HAWEKA Workshop Technique GmbH (Importers
and distributors of workshop equipment)
1982
Start of export to non-European countries. Establishment of distribution
bases in North America, Australia and South East Asia.
1983
Bigger test and research facilities established
